Removing CDs from TU HU

I am going to be replacing the head unit in my 03 CLS, but would like to recover the CDs in it. Can you remove the CDs once you have removed the player? Current problem is that it will not load or eject CDs.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I haven't done it... from what I understand, with that design, you have to do majro disassembly. I'd find a repair shop you can have recover them for you.

Yeah, try to hook the harnesses back up for a sec and eject them. If you can't do that, it's not really worth the trouble. Hopefully you know other people with the same CDs and you can just burn yourself copies.

Unfortunately I can't eject at all... I think that the eject / load switch is buggered. I had a couple of nice compilations that will be hard to replace.

Love the pic in your avatar... that is one hot looking TSX
