take all the screws out of the door panel. pull out the door handle area towars the back of the car. and behind it you will see a metal rod that is held into place. remove the clip and then jus apply light force on the edges of the panel and the clips will release it. its kinda hard to visualize if you have never one this before.

there is a screw on the door handle that you pull to unlatch the door (there is a plastic cover on it) and a screw on the arm rest / handle that you pull to close the door. Two screws. After you remove the screw on the pull handle, as tpatel explained, slide the whole plastic assembly toward the back of the car. The door linkage is then visible and you spin the little clippy thing around so the rod can come out from the top. Then just pull.
