Remote wire, using stock head unit

Remote wire, using stock head unit

Im wiring up my amps today but I had a question. I have an 04 with navi and i dont want to change that out so my question is: Where do I hook up my remote wire for the amp?>

you can wire it directly to the fuse box on the drivers side kick panel.. just make sure it's a fuse that powers on with the ignition (Accessory), and is not constantly on..

or you could just take the H/U out and connect it to the remote back there. but i think the fuse box idea would be easier for ya

the previous owner of my car has a remote wire connected to the fuse for the seat heaters. this way it's only on when the car is running. i probably would have done it differently, but this is an option i suppose.

if i did it to the fuse box, what wire would i use? I saw that thread about hooking it up to the acc terminal but i did not see it
