what is the best source for remote wire on non navi tsx, i want to avoid the acc power in center console in favor of something that turns off with radio off switch, any help is appreciated thanks.

I may not have understood, but to have a remote wire synchronized with the power button on the radio would require going into the head unit and tracing out its turn on circuit. The power supply rails in the stock amp are +8V and I think similar in the HU which may be a bit low for remote turn on, depends on the circuit.

Both the HU and stock pull current when the radio is off and the ACC power is active.

I used the center console acc power and works fine for me.

 

Im good with that,, if the center console works fine thats what i'll use, i was worried about feedback if radio was shut off (like that happens often). It looks like center console is the most common source for amp remote power. Thanks for your help
