I like the fact that I can role down the windows with my remote tranmiter.

Does any one know how to make or reprogram the car to make them go up with the lock button.

 

No, it's not possible to reprogram the remote to close the windows. I've never seen any "official" explanation for why they don't do that, but I expect it's safety. If you're not in sight of the vehicle and something in a pocket or purse pushes the button and puts the windows down, there's no real danger. But there is certainly the possiblity to cause injury if someone were in the vehicle and the windows were raised remotely.

That said, I'm sure you could wire up a third-party alarm or starter remote to do it.

my friends A4 was reprogramed to allow the windows to be raised via the lock botton on his keyless entry. so i doubt it can't be done.
