hey guys im new to the forum an i just bought myself a viper 150esp remote car starter, I just found the page for the wiring codes but i was wondering where would a good place to put the box? I think i saw some room behind the stereo at one point. but where do you have the box located.
Also one more thing im not sure of is with the alarm bypass box, where should i put that? and do i really need a key in it, i thought my keys dont have a chip in it.
Any info or guides that are somewhere else would be GREATLY appreciated

There is room just behind the climate controls on non-nav 2nd Gen TL to put the alarm back there. It keeps it our of the way from theives and from Acura mechnics who might inadventently rip wires while servicing your car. If you have the first gen TL, i cant be of any help to you.
Oh, and 2nd gen Tl needs a transponder bypass. dont go for the taping a key by the ignition idea. Then anyone can jack the car. go to transponderbypass.com and order the module that learns the code in your key. When you remote start the car, the transponder bypass sends the code out and the car will start. It wont send the code without being told to do so by the alarm, hence no alarm remote, no jacking....(what you do in the privacy of you own home is strickly your business
