I have a 2000 3.2TL. Everyone I've talked to (Acura, Circuit City, Tweeter) seem to say that there is no radio kit available besides custom making one. I need to put my system in! Anyone know the deal?

 

There is one. It is made by metra (99-7868). I believe Ron (streeteffectz) has them at his shop. Try a search and you'll be able to find his contact info to get one.

 

I had to get mine custom made but any install shop can handle that...and if your's can't, find a new shop!! GOOD LUCK

 

I am looking to upgrade my system, but not sure I want to replace the head unit. However, in my travels, I did see a plastic kit that fits in the dash for an after market unit. "love my 99" is correct in that most of the hi-end shops can make one, but I hear that runs up to $250.00. The plastic kit looks OK and runs about $20.00. I found it at Best Buy.

 

I'd order from streeteffectz rather than circuit city - mine took 2 months to arrive from circuit city, and ended up costing $30.

 

Leeps, you have a 2002. They make one for that year. vipvop, you also have (had) my problem. I can't believe that they don't make one three years later. I tried the steeteffectz web site but they are down for renovations. I also went to Circuit City and they said that they couldn't do anything for me!!!
