Alpine CDA-9856 I have that HU and like it a lot. Real easy to use and has just about everything you need for a decent price. Ipod control, sat radio, cd, am, fm. The Ipod control is what did it for me. Hope that helps.

QUICK figure out where this was really supposed to be posted.

And when you do figure that part out you might want to put a little more information in your thread... But since you didnt specify anything you want I would pick the Eclipse AVN5495

wired the harness (the shop gave me a 98' and up Acura/Honda harness) wired it as diagram shows, no grounding issues, power IS being supplied to stereo, screen comes on, plays everything, JUST NO SOUND... hooked up a boom box stereo to wires to make sure H.U. was fine, guess what, it is it played thru the cheapie speaker, but i cant get any sound in my car stereo speakers

If that was the only thing that made you buy a new headunit then you could have just bought a 2 dollar cap from Radio Shack and put it inline with your remote wire. It would have solved the problem.

that was only part of the reason, the aftermarket head unit has a awesome eq, and also outputs twice as much as the stock unit, so the speakers are louder, I have the base adjusted so it only comes from the sub, and the stock speakers outputting twice as much as before are simply for hi's and mid's

if you buy a headunit from crutchfield, you will get a harness, and mounting bracket for free... it is basically included into the price...
