quick changing d2s bulb question
Finally got Philips D2S 4100k in!
ok, i finally got these bulbs in and let me tell you its a pain in the A$$. its a fairly straight forward and easy process but the space is so tight. i have fairly large hands and let me tell you it wasnt easy! It is still pretty bright outside so I cannot say if there is any improvement or not, but ill check later today. I cannot wait for these babies to color shift!

its prolly not much of a difference but it bascially didnt cost me anything so i went ahead and did it. the philip bulbs just has a whiter tint so i went ahead and did it.
there are a few good reads on them.

you can get them for like 60 dollars a pair (New) on ebay or HID forums. =D
Also you can sell your used ones for 40-50 dollars. Bascially I spent maybe 10-15 dollars total...not bad if you ask me. ;-)

None...they are both rated at 4100k. if anything the philips seem brighter to me because the coloring is more white/blue. i think its a nice upgrade for the price.
dont get me wrong...both are very good bulbs, they just have a different hue. the osram is more yellow/white and the philips is more white/blue. you can search on hidforum.com for more info.
