Question for TSX owners with amp noise

When you performed your interface at the inputs to the OEM amp (if you grabbed the amp output, this question isn't for you), did you attach female RCA ends at that point? And did you use regular shielded RCA or did you use twisted pair unshielded RCA?

Sorry, I should have been a bit clearer.

And, what type of RCA did you run - twisted pair or regular coaxial shielded construction?

When I had noise, I used solder type RCA male connectors, soldered short wires to the connectors (outside the car) then soldered those wires to the OEM wires. Used female couplers to connect to the RCA cables that run to the trunk.

No noise now, the connection is the same, except it feeds to another HU...
