putting in a new amp and sub

Hi, I just joined because I see there are many people who seem to know what they are doing on here. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I am going to try installing a RE SE 12" sub and an as of yet undecided amp (maybe a Hifonics nx750d) in my currently bone stock 02 tl. I was wondering if anyone knew the wiring for the head unit (no nav). Also, if anyone knows a pretty good installer in the bay area (preferably in marin or sf) that would not mess up the install because I sure as hella am not going to worst buy or any of those places then could you list them? thanks

Hey Bayarea, welcome. If you are looking for a good install...there is a guy at the goodguys car audio install at Stonestown. This guy is great, he did three of my cars, but hasn't touched my TL yet. PM me if you want to know more about the guy.

How would you install aftermarket amps and still use the head unit? I am considering doing this but not sure how to go about it.
