Problems with my SNHOND3 and CD/AUX button
Hello everyone. First, let me thank all those who have posted great info on the SNHOND3 and its installation. I purchased one a couple of weeks ago, hooked it up to my '04 non-nav and my XM Roady played through it perfectly.
However, this morning I hopped into Tessie (that is my pet name for her) for my drive to work, and hit my CD/AUX button twice (to switch to CD, then AUX) to listen to my aux source (XM Roady) and the head unit ignored the second press of the button and reacted like the SNHOND3 wasn't there.
I checked all my connections, and everything is secure. Tried it a few more times, and still nothing. Anyone else have this problem or suggestions on a remedy?

About the only thing I can think of is the totally unsatisfying suggestion of unplugging it and plugging it back in. If resetting the firmware doesn't do it, I suspect it's muerte, Jaime.
Remedy
At lunch, I went back out to my car, started it up, and had no problems. I think the problem was caused by starting the car with the audio system powered off. As long as the stereo is on when you turn on the ignition, I am guessing I won't have that problem.
Weird.
Weird.
Yes, mine has done this too. If I shut the ignition of, then turn the car back on, it works fine. I've just assumed at this point it's just due to a "custom built" system not working perfectly.
My nav screen also "freezes" every once in a while; turning a very dark gray and not responding to anything. It did this before installing the SHOND3 though. Again, turning the ignition off, then back on seems to fix this problem.
