Problems after switching to LEDs

I tried changing the bulbs in my gauges and turn signals to LEDs today...I was somewhat successful in that I got the bulbs to light up...however..after a few minutes of driving they went crazy. If i turned on the parking lights, my front passenger turn signal would not light up but the right blinker would stay lit on the guage. If i turned on my headlights, the front turn signal would not light up along with the rear driver side signal. Its too dark now so I will check the fuses tomorrow.

Also, it took me a few tries to get the gauge bulbs all working..during one of the initial attempts...I smelled something burning when I turned the key. It seem to come from near the steering wheel/ignition. I tried to poke around to see if anything was lose..but everything seemed fine. After the 3rd or 4th time I put back the dash and steering wheel cover.. it went away. I hope have not done any permanent damage.

When I was testing the LEDs in the gauges...I made sure to plug everything back in ( fog/cruise/moon roof connections plus all the connections for the radio/ac/etc ) to avoid turning on the SRS light...is this correct?

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions to fix my problems.

I would suggest flipping the bulbs around, also the turn signal bulbs will rapid blink because the load on the circuit isn't the same as a filament bulb fyi
