Power Supply advice

I currently have 2 comp vr 10's with a kicker 500x2 amp and a 1 farrat rf cap. I am ugrading to 2 12 L7's with a jl 500/1 going to each. Would it be better to get a battery for the new system or just a much bigger cap?

If you get a second cap, you should be fine. Keyword is "should" though.

since pro audio is no longer posting.. ill take this one up.

Capacitors and even Batteries are bandaids.

neither will solve long term power problems, the only real fix is an alternator.

Ok check it out i have the 2.2 cl and a guy told me that they dont make alternators bigger then 150 amps for my car. The difference between 135 amps and 150 amps is like 55 bucks. Should i go for the 150 or save 50 dollars go with the 135?

Go with the 150 amp. You don't won't to be kicking yourself later on down the road.

Ya but is it really worth 55 dollars for just 15 amps? Because i know they make 180 amp ones but according to the guy not for the 4 cylinder engines.
