Possible to Install Blitzsafe w/o Dash Removal?

I just picked up a Blitzsafe AUX adapter to plug my IPOD into the head unit. Can the cable be attached without some dash removal? If not, how much trouble is it to install, or should I wuss out and have a audio shop do it?

no it cannot be done withtout removing the center console. mainly to get to the side panels which is what i assume you mean by 'dash'? its not difficult at all, but that's a relative term. i'd recommend just doing it, saving money and understanding how it all goes together.

I tried not to remove the actual head unit and stick my hands behind...it is way to tight for any hands!!

It took me an hour to figure that out.....and 10 in to ge tthe radio out. Go figure.

Yes, it is 100% DEFINITELY possible to do it without removing anything except the passenger side panel. It's a VERY tight squeeze and as long as you don't have huge hands, you should be able to maneuver it up in there....we do it all the time

Ron's right. It can be done. I did it when installing the CD changer cable. Was really really tight back there though, but can be done if you take your time.

Thanks, email sent. It looks like such a task to remove the center console. Would love to bypass all that work.

I didn't remove the entire console. I just took off the right side panel next to the radio. I then bent the end of the adaptor back and taped it to itself in a "U" I was able to basically hook it into the inputin the back of the stereo and then pull it in until it snapped with one finger. This way I did not have to get my whole hand back there.

Can I install Blitzsafe on indash cd changer?
Because description says
This device is NOT compatible with any models that have the 6-disc in-dash CD changer or all 2003 or 2004 Accord.

Oh? Why is that? Have you been to Ron's shop or seen his work?

StreetEffectz does the best work I've ever seen on TL's, and would be my first choice for any A/V work I would have done to my car. I'd even drive up from VA.

So I don't know what your comment is based on.

sorry i didnt mean to bash your company. Just the way u described 'your' installation by shoving the product in there. But i mean if i works and it still looks the same, i would def. do business with you.
