I used to have kicker SS1200 in my contour that had a fold down seat. It was powered by a, dont laugh, radio shck 200 watt amp. But It hit really damn hard. These are the subs here, it is a full range box. Kicker SS1200 Tell me if you think it will sound good now. I have a Rockford 800 watt amp. I have 2 sony subs in a bandpass box that sound like $hit. They are all muddy and burbly its terrible. Do you think i should go with what i had? Thanx in advance.

Mmm are you saying you want to use a Kicker prefab box with the RF G800 amp? Yeah I'd go for it...not sure I totally understand what you mean. It seems you've already found out that the Sony Xplod brand is a piece of crap. Ha and you wonder why they're so cheap...well yeah I'd definitely say Kicker is a step up...put that with your RF amp.

Yeah, Sony sux at car audio. I want to use my Rockford amp with the kicker full range box. i know i shouldnt have a full range box, but i loved the way it sounded in my Contour.

Eh it's not a big deal...the horns will reflect off of the rear window of the car...and although that will give you strangely dispersed and delayed sound...you still should be alright.
