Please Help! Myron Davis AD212

I'm getting ready to buy the dvd player so i can install my whole setup, but the problem is I want a dvd player that I know will play dvds that i burn off my computer, either DVD-R or DVD-RW.
I know quite a few people on here have this player, so I was wondering if any of you know whether or not it will play these.

-OR-

If anyone knows of a different player that isn't too expensive that will play DVD-R that would be helpful too.

Thanks for any input!

we sell one made by VST (i don't remember the model number now) that will play just about anything, including burnt dvd's. In fact even mainstream ones like Pioneer and Alpine, we haven't had any problem with.

Yeah, I have ad212 and it plays just about everything (Tried DVD-R and DVD+R) Never tried DVD+RW or DVD-RW but I am pretty sure it will play those too. If you are looking for playing mp3s off of a DVD-R its kind of a pain, because you have to use the remote to scroll through the songs. If you want to go to the next track you have to press 2 buttons on the remote. If you search for ad212 I posted all the things that I don't like about the player, but it works pretty well, and I think its the only one that I was able to find that would fit the tsx cubby under the navi screen. I have gotten used to using the remote so its a matter of learning, but in the beginning you might not like it.

You might also want to consider the Accelevision 8500 player. I've yet to encounter anything that it will not play. A big plus is that it has controls on the face (no need for the remote for basic functions). It also fits perfectly in the glove box. You could read a little about the player at this thread:

https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/doms-nav-usaspec-install-341075/

You'll could also notice how it was installed into the glove box.
