With many thanks to SteveStMs I have finally put up pictures of my Video on my Navi. If anyone has questions or needs help e-mail me at henryc75@yahoo.com

I also have an extra Pioneer AVD-505 5.6" monitor for sale, its brand new. I had originally planned on installing one in each headrest but this was cheaper and since it can easily be removed I don't have to worry about theft/prying eyes. I want $400 for the monitor, I paid $430+ but I need the money.
I just updated the address.

The system is hooked up to a PS2 for DVD and game play. I used a Pioneer RGB-1 rgb to composite converter. The RGB-1 cost around $100 as I recall. The rear monitor cost $430, and the RF modulator cost $49. PS2 cost $299, and the 4pdt switch $8. If you have any knowledge of electrical you can do it yourself very easily, and looking at your MP3 player I don't think you will have a problem hooking it up.
Thanks Henry for all the advice, if I run into any problems doing the install, I will let you know. Do you have a wiring diagram for the wires I need to splice to? or did steve post them on the tl board?

I don't think its difficult at all to make the system. I wouldn't feel right selling it, it's only soldering on 4 wires to the Pioneer RGB-1 unit. I think its 5 screws then remove the circuit board by pushing the bracket out of the way. Flip over the main board and right on the main circuit board there are solder points marked, RGB S I believe. I just soldered directly to those and ran it outside of the RGB-1 box. It only takes a little bit of electrical know how. Anyone that wants my AVD-505 monitor can e-mail me and I can see if I can locate another RGB-1 box and modify it and send it with the AVD-505 monitor.
I believe that SteveStMs posted how to do the modifications on the Acura-TL web board.

Actually I didn't put those pictures up to show the front screen, plenty of people already have that. I setup the photopoint pictures because some people were interested in how I setup my rear monitor. When I get a chance I will take out the RGB box and take some photos of the internals. I will also try to get a picture of the front and rear at the same time.
It's not difficult to do, ask me a question on the board and I will try to answer it rather then answering 10 different people via e-mails. Your questions would help out the shy people on the board. As long as you have some knowledge of soldering its not difficult. The hardest part is finding the Pioneer RGB-1.

Well Kensteele is going to check out my system. When I get a chance I am going to send out my extra monitor and the RGB box out to him so he can make sure it works. I also have another idea, I have a pair of Pioneer plugs that came with my now defunct Pioneer GEX-7000 TV. It is a proprietary RGB plug that Pioneer uses. However, since I cut it in half I can try hooking up a RGB-1 to the signal wires in it. I think this may work, I really don't know why I didn't think about it before. I had originally tried cutting into my AVD-505 monitor cable and spliced into it but when I had both monitors going the sync didn't match. But since there is only going to be one monitor in your system Soopa it may work. Give me a couple of days, I still haven't been able to find a supplier for the RGB-1.

I would have to agree, soldering this isn't that difficult, there are actually solder points on the circuit board. You don't have to cut any traces at all. If you take the unit apart and don't think you can do it then maybe it may warrant it, but its so simple I would feel bad about taking money from fellow CL owners.
henry, you did what I was thinking about doing...darn got beat to it....which wires going to the nav did you splice into? All I need is the color of the wires, I have all the schematics for the cars wiring..
Thanks....feel free to email me if U want

If you pop off the driver's side plastic door sill protector there is a wiring loom with a yellow stripe on it in the main wiring harness. It is beside the two wiring looms with the orange stripe. The yellow striped loom has the four signal wires and shielding. I am located in Orange County also, if you want maybe we can meet up and I can show you how I did it.
I'm working on it: Multimedia DVD for Dummies including VideoNavi.
