I cant find this answer anywhere

I looked all over the forum and coulsnt find the answer to this. I am getting an aftermarket ecplipse monitor/radio/cd/tape deck. I wanted to know if i use the aftermarket head unit, will i have any problems with the bose setup and most importantly to me, will i looe the navigation audio. I need the navi audio. Thanx.

SE will probably need to clarify, but i believe the bose amps and speakers work in conjuction with each other so replacing the stock headunit should not be a problem. had you considered only replacing either the amps or speakers then that would have posed a problem since the impedance levels are unconventional. i also believe navi audio is funneled through the stock headunit so you might have to locate the proper outputs and attach an external speaker to it.
