Pictures of the Navi
Emu,
I have not heard any reviews of anyone installing the ability to view DVD's yet on the TSX. I know it is possible, there is a company called www.avelectronic.com in Georgia that offers a plug n play adapter to watch DVDs and TV.
Nirmal, from the otherside posted one photo of it working in his car, but we never heard anything else. I plan on installing it in mine soon, and when I do I will post pictures and instructions.
Hope this helps...

I have the old version of the system and it is great and my wife has the same system that is in the TSX on her 03 Accord EX-V6-Navi and it is STUPENDOUS!
I would not buy a car without it, if it remains reasonably priced.
If you can afford it, get it!

About the "not digitized": In fact it DOES happen more than it should. Ideally it should be just like what TWong said, but it happens at other times too (i.e when you ARE on the road, sometimes a quite significant road), and it's a little frustrating.
But overall, the navi is great. It was great on my TL, and this one is even better.
I'm the one that took the pictures. Someone at the other site asked for some pictures of the Navi doing it's thing. So I went out to the car and started shooting. Bright sunlight and real world conditions. My neighborhood is not in the database as reflected by the "breadcrumb" outline of the streets and the previously discussed not a digitized road. For what it's worth, I just returned from a 1400 mile round trip to Indianapolis this weekend and Navi performed perfectly.
I dont know about the TSX, But I rmr on V6Accord a guy did a NAVI to TV Conversion so he could watch local channels and play DVD's, for DVD's u need a DVD Player
Anyways if anyone wants a link or the guys name who did the mod let me know.. he did it on his 03 Accord, but I think TSX should be pretty similar, or someone could be the guinea pig and make a DIY for others

I took some better ones. Here is a sample....

I took these in my garage without the engine running and put the NAVI in DEMO MODE. When you do that and input a destination it will move the display as it you were driving the car and following the course. The demo mode is meant for showing the NAVI features off at a car show or a dealers show room.

Not too long. Maybe 20 min to take the pics. Then I used a program called Thumber to reduce the pics and create thumbnails and make the page all in one shot.

Awesome pictures!! Those are the best pictures I've seen of the navi so far. Really gives a good idea of the features it has. Thanks!
Rich> First go into the Diagnostic mode by holding down the MAP, MENU and CANCEL buttons down together until the Diag menu appears and let go of the buttons. Then hold down the MENU button for a few sec to see the Developer screen.
RogerPodacter> Go into Diagnostic mode as I described above and it is under one of the menu options. I can't remember which one at the moment but it might be FUNCTIONAL SETUP.
Just remember to turn off the DEMO MODE when you are done. :-)
