Nice Brian. I've also got a new box for a Sundown sub setup, but no pics. I'm way too tired. Been gone since 5:30am EST, and need to go to bed so I can leave same time tomorrow... I might have pics tomorrow, if not, maybe Friday, maybe Saturday, I dunno...

Ok here is my latest box. Goin in a 02ish tahoe with 24's. The box is 46" wide 33" deep 15 3/4" high(double baffle). With a 11" wide port it's 6.4 cubes tuned to 31 with 23 " of port per cube. I braced it with 1" oak dowels, rounded the edges, painted it black and added texture to it. It looks sick. I charged him $170 for this build. Kinda cheap but since he paid me 375 for my 18" btl I had I hooked him up(since i had 240 in it lol). never the less he should be happy. Also there is more bracing in the box I just didnt snap a pic of it.

I know this is resurrecting an old thread but I figured I would share.

I bought an Audiobahn AV1000W woofer and JL Audio 600.1 amp and a prefab .75 cubic foot box. I put in the in trunk and wasn't quite happy with the look. I know the carpet in the trunk looks like shite, still working on that.

Here is a crappy pic of what I am talking about...

I was messing around on youtube and landed on some videos that showed you how to do basic automotive upholstery. I thought I would give it a try. This is my first time doing anything with vinyl. I didn't turn out 100%, but not bad for my first time out. Here are some pics of how it all went down.

So I took some vinyl, 1/2" high density foam and some durable fabric and made a sammich I guess you could call it a quilt of sorts.

I made a scale pattern on paper of what would be transferred to the vinyl

Got my tools for the job...

Halfway through sewing

All sewed up and stuff

I didn't take pics of all of this, but basically I wrapped the box and stapled the vinly from the back. Then I cut a hole out of the vinyl for the sub to go through and put the sub in. There are still some creases and such in this pic, but it didn't take long for everything to get all streched out and lay nice.

This is a pic in the car. Sorry for the quality of this one. I am still debating if I should extend the sides of the box to flush it all out, but haven't got creative enough to do it yet.

Here are a few I have done recently
Starting a new one tomorrow for a customer. Doing a audiopipe amp rockford hx2 12 building a nice ported box and installing it. I'm supplying everything all costing around $200 or so. In return they are giving me a 93 Lincoln Towncar lol
