Thought I'd post this reference information for you all looking to do a head unit swap out while keeping the BOSE AMP.

So I had some trouble finding the correct Harness to do the Pre-Amp outputs from the AVIC Z140 head unit. Part of the trouble is that the Metra site doesn't actually list a harness with RCA inputs. I found the 70-7125 which is actually listed as the ACURA RSX Harness. After some searching I found the pinouts for both the 2002/03 RSX and the CL - S and found that the pinouts were exactly the same for car audio purposes.

In this case, you can use the Metra harness above to retain the BOSE Amp and plug into the Pre-Amp outputs of the new aftermarket head unit.

Here are the details for a pioneer head unit swap while retaining the OEM BOSE AMP.

• Metra - 71-7125 Harness
• Metra - 957868B Acura CL-TL 2-DIN Turbo Install Kit - Black
• PAC - SWI-PS Pioneer and Sony Universal Steering Wheel Radio Interface (optional to retain steering wheel controls).
• Pyle - Flush Mount Rearview Night Vision Camera w/ Distance Scale Line (optional).
