more trouble than it's worth. remember, you need to hook up the a/c controls the the nav. should've bought nav to begin with. just go aftermarket

gmillian , I don't really think it's as much trouble as you imagine... remember, they made tese cars so that any worker can put them together... if you get all the parts everything just plugs in... different harnesses will be needed but hopefully you'll get that from wherever you're buying... the AC just replaces the spot where your tray is I think or something around there... the only other button that you will need to buy that is different would be the hazards button which is vertical now instead of horizontal... most of the wire harnesses already in your dashboard should work and if not the new ones will... you're looking at about $3000 in parts though... at leat that's what the parts look like when I went to some online OEM parts store... don't remember exactly which one... best bet would be trying to find a wrecked CL and pulling EVERYTHING from there... I like the look of the stock nav a lot... really finishes off the car... I wish I could have gotten it on mine but tehy weren't gonna cut me a good deal if I waited for a car to come in... they wanted to unload one that had been stagnant on the lot... you can do your own navi setup for about $2000 if you wanted to... look at the alpine/panasonic/kenwood/clarion lines... tehy all hae good setups I think... one of them even has voice control I think... only problem there is you have to have some custom work done so that it looks good all matching the rest of your dash... I might do it a year or year and a half from now unless I get lucky on a good deal w/ a stock navi...

just go with aftermarket. it will be too much work and a headache trying to swap out wiring harnesses and finding everything you need to make it work. just do something like this....

Where did you get the new dash from to replace the stock stereo with your own? Buy it or make it?
