Okay so my CL didn’t come with the NAVI system and I didn’t care. Then the dealer let me drive one today while they swapped out my warped rotors that had it in it. I love this thing right off the bat. When I drop off the loaner I ask what would it cost to upgrade my car to this system. Cough, cough choke, choke. Okay since I don’t have that type of money to throw away the guy suggested an alpine or pioneer flip up screen/ DVD/ radio combo. My question, (AND YES I SEARCHED for all you paranoid folks that think we’ll run out of posting room if we ask a question more then once)
So can I keep my stock head unit with the in dash six and run the other unit in the slot above the radio where that worthless pop-out business card holder thing is without any trouble.

I stumbled across a picture of someone’s with this type of set-up the first day I visited this site but now I can find the picture to look at it more closely. I’d want it to appear stock when the screen is in. A picture would be greatly appreciated.

 

if you did this with a black screen instead of that silver and blue it would be less noticeable when closed.
