No more test: 5 more USA SPEC iPod interfaces in!

OK, sold out the first batch, just got 5 more units in today, lots of interest but only one presold unit.

This is the USA SPEC PA11 HON2"Y".

It works in nav TSX and 3G TL.

It works in XM TSX and 3G TL.

So those of you who want one of the four left for $120 shipped lower 48, let me know BY EMAILING ME at acurazine at avincar dot com, thanks!

Nope. The way I hit that price is through zero marketing efforts.

This was just the piece that everybody seemed to be using since the DICE / ICelink units won't work with XM TSXs and TLs, so I brought them in.

I bet that you can find plenty of pics searching though.

If I start posting pics and all that I'm going up to $125 or $130

The FW update doesn't seem to add any features or anything... as far as I can tell it added a rotary switch to allow the HW to work in some other cars from the manufacturing side. This unit with this harness works only in the Hondas and Acuras with the most recent connectors.

They are brand new with the most recent FW, but I don't know any rev levels or anything like that...

I have a non-nav 2004 TSX, will the PA11 HON2y work for my car. According to crutchfield's website it will, but you have only nav listed. I'd really like the unit and only need to know if it's compatible.

On the install, where did you mount the Ipod? I'm thinking of using the Pro Clip mount that attaches in front of the cup holder on center console. Most people seem to be putting the Ipod under the armrest, but I'm not really of fan of that. Any suggestions/info?

He just had the Nano, so we just put in the storage bin. That way it's easy to hide when he gets out of the car.

If you don't mind storing it in the storage bin when you're not using it. There's a Ipod mat you can buy that will allow you to put the Ipod on the dash and not have it move around. I forget the exact name, but I think it's made by Griffin. Only cost like $8.

I have the 30 gig video Ipod, so I'll definitely check out the Griffin mat. Thanks for all the help.

Is the price still $120 if I pick it up? Either way whenever you have some in stock I'll swing by to pick it up....
