Question Newb Question about Audio Install

Guy's I'm great with something like computer programming but I dont have a clue when it comes to Car Audio....sad i know, if you could please tell me what and how much i'll need of each in order to install everything i am about to list....i dont plan on installing everything my self, just running the wires and doing the easy things like speakers (and maybe tweeters dont know how easy it'll be) and maybe my head unit...here's what i got guys

2 Amps 1 for highs and 1 for lows
2 Sets of component speakers
AVIC-N2 (already have the wire harness and dash kit)

that's pretty much it...i know it's a vague question but what i'm looking for what gauge wire to get how much to get, what type of amp kits etc. the things a newbie like myself wouldnt think of....thanks guys!!!!

(EDIT)
I'm not a novice but, I do find Crutchfield (a respectable company) to have good back to basics information. I've never bought anything from them.
It's better to shop hands on, but it will give you a source.

i also learned quite a bit from www.bcae1.com.

Of course, reading (and re-reading) this forum fills in the nuances and gaps...

bcae1.com has good info. I HATE the layout, but the info is good, and not too slanted one way or another.
