New Stereo Setup on My CL

This is the plan for my CL.

I work in the car stereo industry, so I guess its time to show people what I can do.

I will be sponsored by ALPINE
So for my Acura 3.2CL-P '03

I have so far:

Double Deck
Alpine CDA9833 Second highest model (I will upgrade to a screen later, screen=less sound quality) &
Alpine HDA5460 16GB Hard Drive MP3/WMA/WAV

Alpine SPX177R 6 1/2" Type X Component Front speakers
Alpine SPX177R 6 1/2" Type X Component for rear speakers, custom plates and custom tweeter mounts will be made for the rear.

Alpine MRDM1001 - 1000watts RMS Digital Mono Amp
Alpine MRDM1001 - 1000watts RMS Digital Mono Amp
Thats right, two mrdm1001 amps

Alpine MRVF540 - Alpine 4 Channel Amp 400watts RMS

Alpine 10" Type X Sub 1000 watts RMS
Alpine 10" Type X Sub 1000 watts RMS
Thats right, two Type X Subs

Scorpion 2.0 Farad Caps w/ digital readout ( X 2 )
Optima Yellow Top Battery ( x 2 ) One to replace under the hood and one hidden in the trunk.
Solenoid to flip bewteen two battery sources
0-AWG Power Wire ( X 2 )
0-AWG Ground Wire ( X 2 )
0-AWG ANL Fuse and Holder 1000watts ( X 2 )
0-AWG Distributor Blocks ( X 4)
Custom Shielded, hand winded GOLD RCAS
Custom 8-AWG hand winded GOLD speaker wire
Custom 4-AWG hand winded GOLD sub wire

Custom fibreglass Box, with factory trunk linear.
This box will be a space preservation style and trying to keep a factory look. nothing to flashy.

Video Multimedia will come later on.

I had a complete Alpine setup in my previous car and it was awesome. They can be a bit pricey at times but you get what you pay for.

Considering you're sponsered you have the best of both worlds.

Can't wait to see some pics of the final result.

Although I am considering leave out the alpine type X speakers and subs and just keep the head unit, hard drive and amps.

Alpine isn't known for the best speakers and subs, although their type X's look crazy.
I wanna go for a SQ car, so maybe steer towards MBquart for speakers and subs.
I'm getting everything dirt cheap, 70% off cost. Which Alpine stuff most of it has between 30%-50% markup =)

Pix will be up in a few weeks, have to slowly work on this on the side

that Alpine is far from the best speakers. I'm sure if you didn't get that discount, you wouldn't have even looked at Alpine speakers.

What about the new F1 speakers. I saw a review on them, and they beat out the rainbow $7500 speakers. The new Alpine F1 speakers retail for $1500 each component. So it would be $3000 for a set of components. Nismo, if you dont mind me asking how did you get sponsered, I have been trying, but not that good of luck yet, I have an excellent background of stereo shows with several 1st place trophis for states and nationals. And is the hard drive out yet for Alpine.

The hard drive for alpine is out already, its been out for a while. Just that no one usually stocks that item, its a $1799.00 CDN retail piece.

We are not an F1 dealer yet so I cannot get them. Plus like I said I don't like Alpine Speaker/Subs too much anywayz, I may not even go with them.

I got sponsored because I am willing to do a full custom setup in my car. I have signed a contract to be in a few shows as well.

As well they are paying for the paint work on the custom panels and my body kit and side skirt.

But its not a full sponsorship so. I do have to fork out some cash.
