This may be a serious audion00b question, but in that Sublime song where the guy sings "I've got the deuce deuce in the trunk of my car" wasn't he talking about a sub?

If so what's so new about a 22" subwoofer?

as far as i know there has never been a 22" sub in production, and given the overall performance in general of mtx's latest stuff i really believe there should be any in the forseeable future

.22 is a caliber- calibur (sp* ?) weapon. a .22 is usually refering to a pistol.

there are .22 rifles, but one usually doesnt talk about their rifle in a song,

its not gangster unless ur rifle is automatic, never heard of a .22 automatic rifle before.

_______________

my is that that woofer sucks compared to 2 12JLw7s.

mtx sucks any way (at least i feel this way)

So the "deuce deuce' is just a .22 cal pistol? What a wuss. I thought he'd be carrying a "nine" in the very least. I guess you're right.

Clarion used to make a 32" sub back in the day, it was on the site about 10 years ago, whether they actually sold it? Somebody might remember it and if it had any lame name.
130 DB with a 22", that is terrible. One 10" if set up right can beat that easy. Pimp my ride is

130dB is totally I mean, they only reached the threashold of pain.

I only enjoy my music at "instant perforation of eardrum" levels.

By looking at the surround it looks like it could be the JL 54w7, not w6

My old accord with 3 15w6's hit 142.2 and was setup for SQ, not SPL. This comes in handy when you get married, you can hear what they are yelling at you.
