New major audio build check her out

Not a acura system but it's my new build. Just picked up a 99 4x4 Durango from the insurance auctions. Gonna try to go pretty loud. Audio will consist of 2 orange memphis mojo 15" d2 subs, audiopipe ap3000 , 4 data safe 75 ah batts, alpine deck. I posted for a box design to get made so when I get it Ill start box construction. SO far I have the battery box almost finished. Only thing I don't have is the amp Im bout to order it. More pics as work happens.

Also I finished the battery box, I got it all wired up, my amp also came in today so I mounted it where I wanted it. I ended up putting vinyl on the batt box. Looks pretty good for my first have at it. I will be painting the box though. And plans changed on it I am now going to use 2 6" flared aero ports. I also ended up ordering 2 sets of cadence components and will be powered by a cadence zrs cp amp. Should be nice when finished.

And my helper

Ok guys box build has started. Aeros are ordered so she is getting going. Wanna throw a thanx to Pro-Rabbit from ca.com for the design and him answering my millions of questions and doing a kick azz job thanx man.

More box work. I'd like to have the box assembled tonight but hell it's gettin near 9 and I live in a sub division so may end soon.

Port holes cut out second baffle holes cut out 3 coats of primer. Letting dry and then for Black paint with texture. Should look sick

Well painting process is complete. Now just gotta wait on the aero tubes to arrive and shes going into the Rango

Bass Is all I really care about. I have heard the cadence comps. While they wont win any sq events, they do get loud. I have never been into major sq I just enjoy being loud as hell.

Yea shes in pretty good shape. Needed a door and a little rocker work. But for the money I have in her and a working 4x4 for winter and such can't beat it.

I've always been told to have it 4-6" from rear wall. Thats exactly what it has. Get's stupid loud n low.
I installed my comps today just waiting on the 4 ch amp to arrive along with sound deadner and im set.

4-6 is general rule of thumb for minimum requirement. i have no doubt that thing is stupid loud. may help it move better with a little more clearence.

Looks good. How many watts are you sending the comps and what do you have them crossed over at?

Here( Chicago area) some towns consider loud music probable cause to search your car and they also will impound your car for loud music.

LOl it was a chick and she was pretty nice. We showed each other respect so it was all good. I was actually talkin shit to her (in a joking way) it listed my durango as a station wagon I said ur killin me with that and she laughed. All in all was no biggie I knew I was in the wrong. It's just a civil offense here not a moving violation so no towing.

They r just jelly they over paid for their amps. I use to run sundown but now enjoy getting power for cheap. And they have good warranty's also
