Lightbulb Need Your Help! REAL QUICK QUESTION! Bose Related

I know, I know, this is in the wrong forum, but that Audio forum is so infrequently visited-

I want to put a new CD player in my 2000 TL to avoid the Bose EQ setup when putting in new speakers, and i want to know:

Can I fit the 6 Disc In Dash CD Player from the Accord (2003, or maybe even the previous model) in the space for the TL? Anyone know, and if not do you know where I could find out? or of another sleek in-dash cd player/changer

thanks,
joe

get a in-dash 6 disc for the '03 model and bypass the EQ. Do a search and you can find the DIY.

'03 Deck seems to have better compatibility with CD-R than the older models.

Appreciate everyone's advice- have any of you bypassed the EQ settings? Not being any kind of electrician or installer of anything, it looks a bit complicated

There had been lots of discussion of EQ bypass last year.
You can find the essentials here.
http://acura-tl.com/forum/showthread...ghlight=bypass

Basically you will have to remove the HU. You can find the stereo removal instructions on
http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremoval.htm

It takes a while if you are a first timer. It would be better to get the metra kit and install your in-dash cd-player/changer in there. Good luck!
