Okay guys, this is my dilema. I have not bought anything yet. Trying to find the cheapest place to buy the stuff.
So tell me where I can get a JL 12 W7 the cheapest from (I have looked at EBAY, not alot of reliable people). And what Amp should I get.


I am considering 2 W7s, but might just get one. I have a place that will do a custom install for my W7s into a custom box with light, plexi, etc to make it look like part of my trunk.

I am deciding between a JL AUDIO 500/1s or JL audio 1000/1 (hard to find) and expensive, or Rockford 1000.1 or 1500.1, maybe even a JBL 1200.1 but not sure how that will do with the JL speakers (But I have heard great things abou it. Most people recommend a subsonic filter for this if ported?). Any ideas would help greatly!

I want to show it off sometimes, but its mostly for daily driving. But when I want to turn it up and get away from the car and let it shake others, I want the ability to at least make me twitch. What do I need?

 

I have 1 10W7 and a 500/1........its almost too much......2 W7s would be INSANE!!!!!!!

 

Anyone with advice!?

 

Amp and Sub is purchased.

$275 for amp, 6 months old, and $400 for 12W7.... woohoo!

Now I just need to get the funds for the other stuff to get it hooked up.

The price you got for the sub (assuming it was new) was great. Hell...I'd like to hear where you got it snce my JL guy can't sell w7's anymore...
