need some help on removing the fake wood...

ok well this isn't AV or Electronic related... but i'm getting sick of the fake black wood and i'm going to customize it somehow.

i figured since many of you have experience in installing your own systems, which means that you have to take apart the whole car, you guys could probably help me out.

anyway, the center console pieces popped out without problems, but i'm in need of help with the doors and the back seat area. do i have to take out the entire panel in order to take off the wood? or can i just snap the pieces out?

if anyone can help please respond ASAP... or IM me on AIM. thanks in advance.

Nope, you have to drill out or cut the plastic rivets off to get them off.

Here's some pics on what to do.

Oh and another thing, if you plan to do it and you mess it up, you can't replace the trim pieces, you have to buy a whole new door panel. Is it really worth it?
