Does anyone have any stereo installation experience? I have run all of my gauges, stereo, and amp...but I do not know how to finish the install.1/2 Installed I want it to look professionally done, but nobody around here has toime to do it...plus if I can save a couple of buccs.... I plan on bolting two DINN sleeves together, but I don't know how to secure it....and what to use. Any suggestions? Here are some pics of what I got going now...Oh, and any suggestions on how to mount my Fields Unit where the Ashtray is...Here is a pic of where it is at now.

Well, really I would like to know how to:
Secure the DINN Panels in the center console.
Cover up the outer edge of the entire area. Do you use some sort of adhesive, and apply it around the edge, then put some sort of plastic frame around it?
I can run wires all day long...it is the cosmetic that I am incompetent at.

I really just don't understand how to mount (secure, glue) DINN Panels. what sort of adhesive is used?
Click on the "1/2 installed" in the original post.....I want it to look like that...but CLEAN....(frame around edge.)

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

 

You need to realize two things -
1) your original post is crap if you need help. The two pics of the system suck (don't show us anything), the second pics of the car are irrelevent, and you don't tell us what you've done to put us in your shoes. Expect dumb answers from dubm questions

2) You just pissed off the local audio GOD. If ANYONE here could help, teh "dude" could. good luck

 

Damn Dude!!!! Forget I asked! I was just lookin for some suggestions. I will go elsewhere with my questions if this is the way that you all treat people. Thirdrail.... people around here are normally more than happy to help out others. Thats what the place is for.

But your post looks like it was written by a three year old, and your pictures are worthless... and what is the point of the exterior pictures? Even if someone wanted to help you (like I did when I opened this thread), how are they going to do that? You provided nothing to go on. All I can figure out is you want to bolt two 'DINN sleeves' together and tape them somewhere else.

I can see no good that can come of this thread, so I am closing it. If you would like to try again I would suggest a coherent description of what you have done, what you would like to end up with, and what the problems are... along with focused pictures of things you are having trouble with.

Oh yeah and you might want to study up on English grammar. ? indicates a question.
