Need to see TSX's with aftermarket front components

Just hoping someone could post some pics of aftermarket tweeters and which ones fit the factory dash location best. Thanks

Most aftermarket tweeters displace the OEM grille.

I can post pics of the DLS UP6 tweeters later. I covered them with grille cloth, so I doubt it's too revealing. Alpine tweeter pics used to be all over here...

Diamond Audio in factory location. Fits with some effort. Speaker can pivot in housing so sound can be directed away from the windshield (pic doesn't show it though). Sounds good.

Those Diamonds look nice, i've been considering another set of Hexes since they have a nice shallow mounting depth.

I put JL XR 6.5 components up front and was able to take out the tweeter out of the grill housing, the JL tweeter fit perfect. You just have to epoxy the tweeter into the grill housing. Looks completely factory, just sounds so much better. I had to put the tweeter level -3db since it was very loud.

I wouldn't put any metal tweeter near that glass... it will take the harshness and exacerbate it (make it worse, too).

Here's a DLS and the avincar tweeter:

i'm not a fan of metal tweets even in conventional door/kick installs.

If you're slick, and yes, we have done it this way, you can mount the tweeter to the underside of the factory grille so you don't even know it's there. Takes a little creativity and you'll probably need to make the opening slightly larger, but it works like a charm if done correctly. We had put some DLS tweeters up there and the customer wasn't 100% happy with how they looked and asked if we could make it look factory again, so that's when we tried it out

Yeah, the only problem I saw with flushing them was the tweeter sounds better when it was exposed than when it was sunk.

That's my car they did it with, looks stock, and I think it sounds great!

the stock grilles are a little wobbly looking, but only someone actually looking for it would notice.
