Can your stock audio unit play "Home made CD"??
when i bought my 99TL, i don't have any problem to play burn
CDs.

Last week, I sent the car to dealer for service and they have replaced a new audio uint, but it doesn't read it (Home made CD) at all. They told me the unit only play music store CD.

I have tried my friends 99TL & 01CL and it works fine!!

HOW ABOUT YOURS??

 

Yeah, our TL HUs play burned CD-Rs...I switched to TDK brand blanks and am not experiencing any problems...I was using cheap copies before and they didn't work too well.

This same thing happened to me....my unit was getting jammed all the time so i got a new one from the dealer, and it was skipping and giving me error with CD-Rs...don't konw why...maybe they changed something
