Need Help With Stereo Head Unit!!!!

I have a 1997 Acura 3.2TL i want to know if it's possible to put a subwoofer in my car without changing the Head Unit. And also does the head unit have an amp or are the speakers just running of the head unit?

I'm not sure whether a 97 TL has a amp in the car. Might want to check your owners manual as it might mention something in there.

Yes you can add a subwoofer to a factory headunit.

Thanks for the Help i've decided to just put an after market Alpine headunit instead.

Just to let you know adding a aftermarket headunit you will lose the following without some sort of modification : Factory sub, Navi voice prompts and steering wheel controls.

Except for the fact that my 1997 3.2tl doesn't have any of those
