Need help regarding the 02 TL Audio...

Hi all, I was hoping that there might be someone out there that has an answer to a coupla questions I have about the 02 tl no nav sound system.

First of, the sound system is not bad. Bose makes good sound. A little too much midrange for my liking and no adjustment on the deck for it, but all in all a decent system. I would however like to add more base and I was wondering if there was any 12v power to be tapped into in the trunk area, or might I have to run a power line to the battery? I have been looking at some self contained units like the Kenwood KSC-WD250 and daisy off of the stock 8" sub for sound.

Also, I am not in love with the 6cd changer for numerous reasons, mostly involving cd's (storebought and burnned) getting stuck in the mechanism. I read somewhere that it was possible to mount a seperate cd changer in the trunk in the space located driver side rear of the trunk. I also read that this can be controled by the stock head unit by double clicking the cd button... any ideas ???
