Answers...
Congrats on your CL !!!! Here are some answers to your questions:
1. front speakers are 6.5" components, meaning 6.5 in the door, and a 1" tweeter in the dash
2. rear speakers are 6x9"
3. This depends on if you have the Bose system or not, if you do have it, you cannot just replace the speakers as you will need to bypass the factory amps. If you do not have Bose, you can probably just switch them out, but, I am not sure, however, if you are gonna change them to a high quality speaker, you might wanna change them wires anyway.
4. I personally think that Infinity Kappas are the best for the money, I have 2-10" Kappa 100.1se subs & they sound amazing, they are being pushed by a pheonix gold amp. Whatever subs you get, make sure that you get a high end amp. stay away from fosgate,legacy,ppi...
Here is a link to my car, you can see the subs there

You can find a good price on Infinity speakers here. This is where I got mine.
Whereas, I believe the Kappa line is superior, I have the Reference series, and the sound quality is unbeatable for the money!
