Need Help Amp Install

ok im confused with this amp install..i have a stock HU and i would like to install an amp and 12 inch sub...the amp is an Alpine V12 and sub is a P3 Punch...so i have a few questions:

1. What guage wire should i run if the amp puts out 500 watt RMS?

2. Is it easy to hide 4 guage in the panels?

3. Where do i connect the remote wire?

4. Im going to use an inline coverter thing, can i hook it up to the stock sub wires in the trunk or do they have to come from the HU?

Any help is appreciated thanks a bunch

I'll try to help with what I can.

1) Some people will say 4 AWG from the battery down to 8 AWG at the distribution block will suffice but I suggest doing 1/0 from the battery down to 4 AWG at distro. block. Bigger wire won't hurt any and it leaves room for future upgrade.

2) I'm not exactly sure what panel you are referring to but you can run 1/0 along the floor just fine.

3) not sure

4) I would think it would come from the HU, replace all stock wiring.
