what would be a good choice for an 2 channel amp for under 200 bucks. will be powering a set of these http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=12431.

i currently have a hifonics mono amp for subs and i have been pleased with that so i was gonna buy another amp from them. but any other suggestioins i would lkike to hear. thanks

There is a DLS Classic CA-22? that is 50W x 2 RMS and 75 w x 2 typical that would be nice.

I always avoided Hifonics and metal tweets... they were'nt very smooth sounding up there. Sure it would work OK tho...

nice choice of speakers, but i wouldn't go with hifonics either for your high's, try looking into an autotek street machine, i have one that's 100 watts per channel rms (4 channel).... freaking loud...... and i think i bought it for something like 240 on ebay....

I wouldn't go with hifonics for your highs. I have a 600 Watt 4 channel power accoustik, that I used as a sub amp for a little while, waiting for some components. Heard it on another set of components, sounded good.
