I was hoping someone could please explain to me the interface for the IPOD on the Avic-n2, it is so hard to go from artist to artist and it only will allow 1 line instead of using the entire screen....and correct me if i'm wrong but there's only 1 way i can connect XM and IPOD, I'm not doing something wrong am I b/c when my Ipod is on it wont say IPOD at the top left it says something like AUX or something.......yet in the manual it says Ipod with a pic of it......just hoping someone with it could explain as much as possible and how the connected it, it's bound to let me use more then just the top line, at least i would think

 

You probably connected it properly. You will only get the one line of text with that setup. The picture it shows with the ipod logo in the source menu is a picture of ipod adaptor used with the AVHP5700DVD, not the N2. It is the only one they currently make that offers full screen display and touchscreen operation of your ipod

 

good info, thanks man.....that really sucks you know? To have something that expensive and only do just enough to get by....maybe they'll improve it
