Ok guys everyone knows of the issues with the radios in the 1999-2001 TL's, well the dealership that I just recently bought my car from was informed by me of the radio not working today they had someone take a look at it the guy said that he could put a new radio in place of the factory radio, i told him that i really wanted to keep my factory HU because i want this car to be as much like stock as possible, he then said that he could put a cd changer unit in the trunk of the car, i dont know if i really want that, what are your views on changers, he said that it would have a different control unit that would have to be placed somewhere to me that looks a bit tacky, but if anyone has views or better yet pictures of thier OEM HU with aftermarket changer setup please post, i ned to know by tomorrow, they are doing it all for free, but i really just want a stock HU. Let me know guys...

 

Why wouldn't they just replace it with the OEM HU? What kind of radio in it's place? This dealership sounds shady.

 

They wont replace it with a OEM HU because this is not a Acura Dealership I saw the car at a different dealership, so they just want to fix it the best way and for now it seems like a cd changer which i dont really want. Does anyone have pics of there changer setup maybe i will fall in love with it.

 

Come on guys I need some advise like ASAP, and if you have any pictures of your setups let me know, or post them!!!

You know, there are several decaffeinated brands on the market that are every bit as tasty as the real thing...

 

But if the changer is free why not, thats my deal right now!!!! But I dont want that ugly thing with wires hanging all out you know, anyone with pictures???

 

So no one has a pic of there changer setup in there car?????
