Went and checked out a shop on installing my amp/sub and that is what he suggested. Install for $150.00.

Amp mounted on the back of the box is pretty straightforward..

What all are they doing for $150? Install headunit, amp and subs ?

I was going to say it was a little pricey but if it's a well known trustworthy shop it's worth the money..

Any type of spacer would be nice but not needed..

Just be sure to go to a very reputable place and don't worry too much about cost it's well worth it..

Where area do you located? Maybe someone here can recommend a good shop.

If its a quality amp and you plan on having it for a while I wouldnt mount it to the sub box. If its a cheap amp then go for it.

150 is not a bad price if it includes running power wire from the front ot the rear also.

I dont know if you're up to it Eggplant but the DIY's for amp and sub install's around here make it childsplay. If its worth it to you to save the $150, you may just set yourself aside a Saturday and have some hot man on car love.

It's for his Camry but yes same concept... Just spend the $100+ at a reputable shop. It will be worth it..
