navi track offroad function

Does anyone have the "track off-road" function available on their nav system? It is show on page 64 of my 2001 CL nav manual but does not show up on my screen. I'm thinking I have a 2001 CL-S with an old rev (2.03) of software. The dealer thinks it's only available on the MDX but I called alpine and they said that all Acura models use the same DVD.

Anyone find a way to play DVD movies yet???

I don't have anything of the kind on page 64 in my CL Navi manual. Perhaps you have a newer manual, I have part # 31S3M800.

In any case, CL Navi doesn't have this feature. MDX does. Off road or off route? There is a difference.

Alpine is not going to have accurate answers for you. What makes you think they know? Yeah I know they make the unit.

You can get a DVD to play on the Navi Screen, but not through Navi DVD player. You have to get a adapter that hooks up to the Navi Screen and a Portable DVD player.
