cool! What car do you have? I'm just about to install Focal's in the front and rear deck with a pari of JL amps and a JL sub box in my 07 TSX, using mercman's harness. I just ordered a KUDA mount for my sirius radio so I'm hoping that this will be a nice piece...

 

i have an 06 tsx. And with those JL amps im pretty sure you dont need the BALUM (or balun, w/e it is lol). I know atleast some JL amps take differential inputs.

The alpines however, dont. But they have a tiny footprint and are stackable (i have mine stacked)

 

You are correct. I can go straight into the JL's with mercman's harness with these amps. I just need the time to install them, and the courage to rip my car apart!

 

those alpine amps fit under the seats of tsx. i have a 4.100 under one seat and a 1.600 under the other.

too bad they aren't balanced though...

 

i have them on my back seat. There is room with the track and everything under the seat? And i have passengers all the time so i wouldnt really want to take away foot room

 

when i actually get my car back (long story) i will take pics of my PDX amps mounted under the seats.
