My system...almost done PICS!!!

Well, for all the guys who like pictures, I have some shots. I didn't do a whole step by step because most of the interior work was done outside my workplace (Checker Auto Parts) during down-time so you won't get to see step by step install of the deck, wires, or speakers. I will tell you though, that I rewired the rear and ran the fronts from the deck harness to the amps. 0 awg wire came through the unused grommet above the gas pedal (was a bitch to find too), and ran to the back. Factory sub was removed to allow bass into the cabin. I also made some pods out of the triangular panel by the front windows, and MDF spacers for the front mids painted with polyurethane to prevent cracking. Both amps were painted silver to match the car. All I need to do now is make an amp rack cover and tighten up some small stuff. Sub and box is a bit dusty still. My system consists of:

Deck: Kenwood KDC X790
Front speakers: Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5 comps
Rear Speakers: Cadence ZXN52
Mids/Highs amp: Rockford Fosgate Power 750x
Sub amp: Rockford Fosgate Punch 800.2
Sub: Rockford Fosgate Power T115
Box: Homemade 3.5 cubes tuned to 38hz painted with textured Graphite paint

Enough talking and on with the pictures:

See it in action:

Nice amps bro. Defiently one of the better ones from fosgate. As well as the sub. The tweeter pods look awesome to. Now why did you tune it so high. For a 15 i usually tune around 34hz. My JL 10w6v2 box is tuned to 36hz.

Other than that it looks great man

Did you mat the trunk?

dont smoke man it will kill ya.....

RF recommends that tuning be at 38hz for this sub, according to thier box design. I did make the box .25 bigger than what they recommed too. This enclosure was built with the thought of swapping out with another SPL sub in the future. I might end up getting an Audioque HDC315 with about 3500 watts, and those subs like 40hz tuning.

The tweeter pods were painted with the same textured graphite as the box was. I tried semi gloss black and didn't like it all that much. The trunk was not matted but I don't think it'll help much judging by the way it's flexing right now. Trust me, I've had vehicles where they were deadened all the way around. Some helped, some didn't. I personally don't think deadening this trunk will help much, if at all.

I hope your friend doesn't have the same generation amps I do because these are no way close to 10 years old. They are from 2002. But I think you're talking about the DSM, IX and x2 series. Those are awesome too. I really like the sub. Major body flex with just 900 watts going to it but I get bored pretty quick and swap them out alot quicker than you'd think. I'd take a video if I had a recorder. Seriously, I think my sunroof is going to pop off one day.
