my sound system

got two Rockford Fosgate amps: Rockford T4004 and T3002
Rockford Fosgate capacitor
JL 12W6V2 sub
JL speakers
Alpine IVA-D100 headunit with the Blackbird navigation

Not the best looking setup..the board behind the box is a board with the two Rockford amps drilled into it.. i think if I had the JL amps, it would be possible to drill both JL amps into the box, but the JL amps are way more expensive...the previous setup took up way too much trunk space, this is perfect the way it is.

My Alpine headunit

if you bought it new. check the birth sheet. it'll usually tell you how much MAXIUM power it can push. usually thats like at 1 ohm or some.

Or if you have JL it pushes 1000 watts 1 ohm, 2 ohm, 3 ohm, and 4 ohms.

Love the setup, but I would go for some better components when you want to upgrade. Personally I don't like JL components, I had the XR's and they seemed a little rich and used to scream at me. But that might just be me, overall they were good.
