My audio upgrade is 99% done

OK My audio upgrade is 99% done. The only thing left is the center channel speaker which i am waiting for the paint to dry.

One thing kinda bothering me is that when i turn the volume all the way down, i can hear the static noise, but sure this is not engine noise. Is that the nature of the amplifing or something??? If it is not, is there a way to get rid of it?

I set the level gain on my Stinger at 2/3 and the sherwood at 1/3 and the MA at 1/2. It is really pump and and no noise what so ever when there is volume. Anything i need to look for?

Here is what I have:

Stock Head Unit (I know, I know)
Sherwood DTS Surround Decoder
Sherwood 6 channels amps
MA Audio HC1002
Stinger SALOC line converter
2 12" Kicker CompVR
Front Stock Speaker (I know ) with add on Pioneer Tweeter
Rear stock Speak (I know )
Add on 2 Rear JBL Mid/Tweet Surround for Sherwood decoder
2 Center JBL Mid/Tweet
Audiobahn Digital 1Farad Cap
Audiobahn 100Amp Circuit Breaker
All Monster & Lightning RCAs, Speaker & Power wires
All Lightning Platinum and Gold plated connectors

Thanks

The noise is probably from your LOC. Turn your LOC gains down as low as you can while turning up your amp gains to compensate, within reason.

if you didnt bypass the stock EQ i believe thats where the source of the noise is... i mean...heck... my wireing is all tied up together and my spaker cable is running alone with the power cable.... and my groundinf for the amp are like a 1.5 feet long/....and i have no noise after bypassing the stupid EQ

Thanks guys ....

I got the center channel in tonight. It kicks a$$ .... Sound so much better with the center channel turn on. I talked to Ron (streetfx) and he said the sound is normal .... but it kinda bothering me

DniCeE TL: Pics will come up very soon, just need some last minutes touch up before taking pictures.

Brewboy, Ghost31711 : I will try to tune the system again (i did a quick and dirty job before. I didn't really take my time tuning the system) and if nothing work, then i consider bypassing the EQ.

Does the noise come and go with the lights turned on?? I found the weirdest thing with my system, if I have the courtesy or headlights turned on I get a bit of an 'alternator whine', but when I turn off the lights the noise goes away. Some seriously weird crap, but I can live with it since it's not so bad, and with volume it's hardly noticeable.

JSuppi The noise is there even no light turn on at all ..... I know, the noise is little and when up the volume, i hear no noise ... but it just kinda bothering me that's all

And now .... I can hear some whinning noise from the engine too. My ground is at the seatbelt bolt right now .... I heard that this bolt is not a really good ground, but crutchfield recommended this one. I will try to move the ground somewhere else and retune the level gain this weekend .... Will see how it goes.

And Ghost31711: the static noise is there even when the HU is off and the amp is on. so Im not sure if the EQ has anything to do with this.
