My 3.2TL Bose system doesn't...

play CD-r's very good. I'll pop one in and it'll take forever for the Bose to read the disc. THen when it plays I can't skip through tracks because it has to read the disc information again. But it plays regular discs right away without an hesitation.

What's going on?

Get TDK or Memorx CD-r and then they should be fine.

 

I never got any brand of CDR to work well (meaning that the best you could hope for was 10 seconds to change songs). Just give up now and get a new HU, the b(l)ose one is too shitty to mess with.

 

its not the cd's its the crappy headunit not being able to play cd-r's

 

yea, i got mine "updated" at the dealer.

Just go to the dealer and complain, they ussally give you what you want.

 

^^^ if you vechicle is under warrenty.

 

Crappy acura of pasadena, CA told me that's how the head unit was supposed to work, and wouldn't replace it.

But I have heard a lot of success stories online, so it's worth a shot (pasadena dealer sucks).

 

Go to another dealer.

 

Call acura directly.
