The MP3 player treats the disk as a regular music CD with hundreds of tracks.

It does *nothing* with the folder structure *or* the ID3 tags and it does not integrate into the NAVI or non-NAVI display screens.

I was about to buy it myself, despite the pricing, until I got a look at the user manual online. I decided to go with an auxiliary line-in adapter and my existing pocket jukebox. Way cheaper.

After all at 28,000 I'm not buying a "Need Only" car....I bought this car as an upgrade...OK it sound like alot of bitching I know I got alot for the money...But the price of XM or MP3 with ID3 tags is trival at a 30,000 mark...Dont you think

If enough people write and complain...maybe we can get an upgraded MP3 player option in 2005?

I think a couple of the after-market players; Clarion and Alpine, for starters.

And, of course, all the pocket jukeboxes...
Which explains the popularity of the Auxiliary line-in option...

As for complaining; well, I did my part when Acura HQ phoned me for my dealer satisfaction survey. :-D
